The Winslow Group

In 2019 a group of artists and makers from Winslow and the local area came together to hold an exhibition to show their individual work, as part of the Bucks Arts Weeks, during two weeks of June.

The Town Council, eager to encourage and promote creative endeavour in Winslow, very kindly allowed an area within its beautifully refurbished premises on the High Street to be used as a venue, and so The Winslow Group was born.

And together the seven of us turned the rooms into an art gallery, welcoming the many visitors who popped in to see us, (not just to escape the wettest and coldest June for many years). With a lovely warm atmosphere and lots to engage with, it was a big success.

And there we were, making plans for Bucks Arts Week 2020, but we all know what happened to those. So we’ve built this website.

It’s a place for us to showcase our work. Built in the spirit of Bucks Arts Weeks, its primary role is to show off what we do, and to talk about how and why we do it. We welcome any questions about any of the work on show, please don’t hesitate to get in touch and ask questions you may have about the specific area within which we work individually, or about any particular piece of work.
